BLACKPOOL COMMUNITY THEATRE

Introduction
Blackpool Community Theatre CIC operates as a nonprofit community interest company. Although our registered and head office address is located in Manchester, our true base is in Blackpool, where we gather as a community and where our members and volunteers engage in performances, classes, and a variety of enjoyable and stimulating activities. So, if you or your child are interested in being part of something special and have a passion for performing, particularly in acting, then join our community theatre; you will not be let down. We welcome anyone aged 6 and over (currently improv classes for 16 and over are taking place on Saturdays)
What We Do

Productions

As part of our vibrant Blackpool community theatre company our members are excited to showcase their talents not only through stage productions like pantomime and anti-bullying plays but also at various public events. Among these events is Tram Sunday and various festival’s and fundraising campaigns including Children In Need in and around Blackpool.
Exciting news for aspiring actors! We are thrilled to announce the our weekly improvisation classes have returned at Spencer Court Community Centre near Sainsbury’s on Talbot Road in Blackpool. Sessions are only £3.00 each. So, if you love acting or improvisation join our improvisation classes.

Fundraising
We firmly believe that our mission extends far beyond the confines of theatre.. While it is undeniably vital to generate funds that sustain our own artistic initiatives, our commitment to the community reaches outwards, fostering support for various charities and CICs.
We offer more than the performing arts. We also offer bullying support resources including helplines and YouTube Childline videos. So, if you or someone else needs support we can help you find the support needed. View Childline videos and helplines
